Angel Heralds, French Country Ex-Libris Bookplates

Guard the tomes in your library with these elegant Rococo bookplates reminiscent of the French Court. These bookplates feature a pair of angelic heralds amidst a floral wreath. Artist Anna Sipkema designed this design in the 1700s. Bookplates are ideal for safeguarding your library's volumes and making a unique and thoughtful gift. Bookplates are crafted on 50# White English Finish Gummed Paper and hand-cut to size. Gummed paper is coated with an adhesive backing that requires water to activate (similar to traditional stamps). Once the adhesive is activated, the paper will adhere to the front pastedown of your book.
